Pyromusical Shows
Music-synchronised fireworks — the moment the sky joins the orchestra. Every burst a beat, every colour a note, every silence a breath.
What is a pyromusical?
A pyromusical is a show format in which fireworks effects are choreographed second by second to a piece of music. In an ordinary display, shells are simply fired in sequence; in a pyromusical, the music is analysed bar by bar, the exact moment each effect must open in the sky is calculated backwards, and a digital firing system ignites every shell with millisecond precision.
Between ignition and the burst opening in the sky there are 2–8 seconds depending on calibre. The designer computes this delay for every single effect — so when the crescendo reaches the sky, the music reaches its peak.
The MESVORA method
- Music analysis: The piece is mapped into tempo, beats and emotional arcs. Finales, transitions and silences are marked.
- Effect scoring: Each musical phrase is assigned calibres, colours and figures — like writing notation.
- Digital firing: The show is executed by timecode-locked firing modules. Human reflexes are never in the loop.
- Preview and simulation: Before the night, the show is screened in computer simulation and revised together with the client.
